Investment in Quality

As part of our continuous improvement programme, we have recently invested £15K upgrading our performance and life testing facilities.
We have added 22 test bays to the test room, each with their own variable load and power supply. This gives us the capacity and flexibility for us to run a variety of life tests, including brush and gear wear. The programmable timers are used to mirror our customers’ application in the field by varying the load and duty cycles as required.
These additional facilities compliment our existing test area, where we have a dynamometer, hoists, stairlifts, golf trolleys and rolling roads for simulating shock loads. We also have a MEA Motorlab computerised test rig where we can produce torque/speed & power curves for all our 12V & 24V motors.
The information we obtain from our tests is analysed by our engineers, and is used to improve our products and the service we offer our customers.
